REGION K 2009-2010 WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

MASSW-K has coordinated the following presentations for the 2009-2010 school year. (Presentations/Location/Time/CE subject to change). Please email to join us for our business meeting, resource sharing, support, networking, and professional development opportunity. CE INFO: 45 contact hours are needed every 3 years. Of the 45 CE’s, 5 must be in ethics and 1 in pain management. FEES: MASSW Member: Free Non-MASSW Member: $25.00 per. presentation Social Work Field Placement Student: $10.00 per. Presentation.

The workshop scheduled for January 8, 2010 was cancelled due to a snow
storm and several school closings. It will be rescheduled for a later
date.

On March 5, 2010 Greg Miller, RPSGT Manager of St. Mary's of
Michigan Sleep Disorder will present a workshop on Sleep Disorder. Wake
up early and come join us at the Saginaw Transition Center located at
3860 Fashion Square Blvd. Saginaw, Michigan or one of the polyconference

Thanks to everyone for your support of the officers and for keeping an active membership with MASSW. We are always looking for new members. If you know of job opportunities please let us know. There are many school social workers who are laid off due to
these economic times. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Thanks to the many acts of kindness I received due to the death of my mother during
